St. Tammany District PTA is here to serve you. It is our job to make sure that all of our local unit leaders are trained. That is why it is important for you to mark your calendars for all of the opportunities that are offered to you throughout the year. Click on the District Calendar button on the homepage of this website for all the dates already scheduled. Make sure that you read all of the materials available to you from the National, State and District PTA. Familiarize yourself with your local unit bylaws and standing rules. Many of the phone calls and emails we receive are questions that are answered in your resource guides.Remember our district has 55 local units. We only had 38 units represented at our Summer Leadership Academy. This means that not all of you received some very important training and you did not receive your State Resource Guide. If you wish to receive your State Resource Guide before the October 10th General Membership Meeting or the September President's Meetings on the East or West Side, you need to email me. district.terri@gmail.comPlease follow the district on facebook if you have an account. We post quite often and this will keep the district activities in front of you on a regular basis. Also, download the back to school kit guides from www.pta.org if you did not request a hard copy be mailed to you. And make sure you check the website regularly for updated information.Thanks
